Motorbikes

This section is dedicated to my motorbikes, most of which died while trying to keep me happy. I started riding in New Guinea. My first bike was a Honda XL 100. When I snapped its frame in half landing badly from a jump I sold it and bought a Suzuki DR 125. I then moved to England, where I had to wait until I was 17, when my parents got me a Yamaha DTR 125 (bored out to max capacity, with Goodridge braided steel hoses and upgraded suspension). After I passed my test I got a Suzuki GSX 250. The guy who sold it me threw in an old moped which didn't run, and had no keys. I then got a Mini, and didn't have a bike for a year or so. However, that couldn't last, so I bought a Honda H 100, then a Kawasaki GPZ 305, neither of which appear on this site. After giving the Honda away, and killing the Kawasaki (lovely bike, but very fragile) I bought an RD 400 which I killed through abuse and neglect (sorry Simon), but had great fun on while it lasted. Next came the Yamaha XT 550, which I would have happily kept forever, except it got stolen. My next bike, a Kawasaki GT 550 got run over by a car (fortunately I wasn't on it at the time), so I bought a Honda VFR 750. I realised very shortly after purchasing it that I was headed for death or no licence, but that got stolen too. I moved to a car for a year or two, before getting a Suzuki GS 650 G Katana. I have always loved the Katana, but have now given it to my brother as I found it too cold to ride much these days, and have taken up driving an off road car instead. There are also a couple pictures of me on a friend's VFR (the red one) in Texas, and a Cagiva Elefant I borrowed.

Update: I have just got my Katana back from my brother. It will be back on the road as soon as I have time to do some work on it.
