Sweden, Christmas 2011

Last time we were in Sweden I looked at a couple houses to buy. While I love the cabin, it is limited to being only able to visit it in summer, so I decided to buy a house, as well. It came with beds, heating, running water and inside toilets; so everything the cabin lacks. It also means if we ever decide to try living over there some time in the future, we can.
We had a fair bit of cleaning and organising to do, but also made time for a walk or two every day. It was warm for the time of year, not getting below -18 C while we were there, but averaging more around the -1 to -8 C range. No matter what the weather, though, it was a pleasure to get out for a walk, either through the town, looking at the Christmas lights in the houses, or through the woods and along the river.
We made it up to the cabin a couple of time. Thanks go to Tony for lending us a snow mobile to make the trip up our drive so much more fun.
